
Jamelia is a dually licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Tennessee and Georgia. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Austin Peay State University and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lee University. Jamelia has been in the mental health field since 2016 and has been practicing as a therapist since 2018.Jamelia's goal in therapy is to provide support as clients navigate life's challenges. She takes a systemic approach, recognizing that each person is shaped by their unique experiences, relationships, and cultural context. She works with individuals, couples, and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, relationship/attachment issues, grief, self-esteem, and stress. Her aim is to offer a safe space to process emotions, strengthen self and relationships, and support clients in moving through life's difficulties. Outside of work, Jamelia values time with family and friends, and enjoys traveling and creating new experiences and memories.
