Elise is a therapist intern pursuing a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Columbia University's Teachers College. She is passionate about providing holistic, evidence-based care and takes a collaborative, client-centered approach. She works with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, self-esteem challenges, and relationship conflict, with a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults navigating self-harm and suicidal ideation.

Elise's clinical foundation was built through direct work with children and teenagers across residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings. She is a certified Rape Crisis Counselor through the Department of Health, which informs her crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and trauma-informed approach. These experiences have shaped a relationship- and strength-based foundation for her clinical work. Elise tailors her approach to each person's personality and needs, integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centured approaches, mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care.
