Dr. William DeWolf

Dr. William DeWolf, II, is a Clinical Lead Board Certified Psychiatrist, with almost 18 years of clinical and academic experience as a Psychiatrist. Dr. DeWolf is well equipped with the ability and knowledge to treat and improve all types of Psychiatric Disorders. He has a wide range of experience as he has practiced in all different types of settings, including Outpatient, Impatient, Psychiatric Crisis ER, Nursing Homes, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, Drug and Alcohol Detox, Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program and ACT Team. He has successfully acted as Medical Director and Chairman of Psychiatry at Jefferson Regional Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, at Grand Strand Medical Center including the South Strand Behavioral Health Unit in Myrtle Beach, SC, and at Muncy Women's State Prison for the Chronically Severe Mentally Ill in Williamsport, PA. He has also helped establish and successfully lead the rapid growth and notoriety of Advanced Psychiatric Health outpatient clinic in Naples, Florida as Regional Medical DIrector.  He has experience in ECT and Interventional Psychiatry including TMS and Spravato and is certified to provide multiple types of TMS protocols, Spravato treatment, Prism and many other new protocols and devices pioneered at Radial Health to treat Major Depression, OCD and other complicated conditions. A few of Dr. DeWolf's passions are overseeing, teaching and collaborating with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, teaching students and Residents and not only treating complicated cases but also understanding each individual's disorders both psychiatrically and medically while also getting to know each patient as an individual person. Some areas where he excels are disorders such as OCD, PTSD and ADHD. He is experienced and has the ability to treat and improve each patient with medication regimens, Interventional Modalities and many times both used in combination. Dr. DeWolf grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to Medical School at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is where he stayed to do his residency in Psychiatry. Dr. DeWolf is a very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable Physician, who strives to make all of his patients feel comfortable as not only a patient but an individual person and improve under his care.
