
Dr. Eugene Grudnikoff earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School; he completed his general psychiatry training at Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York, and a child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University Hospital, in Newark, NJ. He has Board certifications in both general and child/adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Grudnikoff has experience treating patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as in a school-based mental health program.
In his clinical practice, Dr. Grudnikoff focuses on advancing safe, effective, and integrated psychiatric care—bridging clinical insight with system-level reform to improve long-term outcomes for patients and families.
Reflecting his clinical views on preventative care and sustained recovery, Dr. Grudnikoff’s research interests center on reducing unnecessary polypharmacy, improving systems of care to prevent avoidable hospitalizations, and addressing medical complications within psychiatric populations.
